w116 & w123 fuel tank senders - compatible? gas & diesel senders compatible?
guys, two questions, both from the title:
are w116 and w123 diesel fuel tank senders compatible? how about gas engine fuel tank senders: are they the same part as diesel, and therefore compatible?

No, the W116 and W123 senders are different lengths. Not sure about gas vs diesel differences.

I think it was Jerremy5848 that changed his W124 Diesel sender with one from a gasser. did a pictorial.
I don`t see any reason one from a 123 gasser wouldn`t fit a diesel. should be same size tank. A W116 tank would be a different configuration. Pull them out and compare Charlie
