Most of what I choose to read here gains me more knowledge. This is a great resource indeed.

Threads with solid information and lots of pictures are instantly bookmarked. I have a Mercedes folder with several folders inside: cooling / A/C, electrical, engine, instrumentation, intake / turbo / exhaust, suspension, and trim / exterior. A lot are, "hmm, I should do that"

Iam like this, but I read all the 123 chassis and 617 engine threads.

I don`t have plans to owning one (124/60x engine) they are too complex with my way of thinking. Iam stuck in an old fart time warp

I need to set up a mercedes folder with sub folders, might make life simpler. my son in law was showing me how to do it. then I get home and, now what did he say?

my file system is a pile of note pads, piles of scrap paper with notes scribbled on them, then later can`t read my own writing.

I did up grade the system couple weeks ago. I bought an old Rolodex.

I assume he showed you how to set up files and sub files electronically in your computer files. That's the only way to go. My Rolodex went to the paper recycle a long time ago!
