1984 300TDT shifting problem
My 84 300TDT has a few over 300K on it. It seems to have trouble downshifting, especially from a stop. Any suggestions?

This threat is
ROGUE T PROTECTED My 300DT was also have the same issue, but I adjusted my driving to compensate for it. When I lubricated my throttle linkages I hit the bowden cable by accident and oddly enough my car shifts better. Try playing around with the cable and lubricating the throttle linkages for good measure. Maybe it's just sticking.

Sounds like you need to adjust the Bowden cable, the rubber-booted cable linked to the throttle but goes under to your trans. Tighten it a bit and see what happens.
