95E300D no highbeams

I failed inspection for no highbeams, they worked a week ago. fuses look good, everything else works on the combination switch. Light bulbs are good. No power at the light sockets when i hit the highbeams on. anybody got any ideas?

The fuse may look good, but it may have a hairline fracture. Replace it and see what happens.

Ok Fuses are good, bulbs are good. How hard is the combination switch to replace? I took the little cover off it on the stearing shaft and see no broken wires.

There was a thread on here not too long ago from someone with the same problem (and maybe the same model). Do a search (if i find it I will post a link). I believe in that particular case the solution was a new switch.

I am assuming you actually replaced the highbeams fuses - I wouldn't go on looks alone - plus check the terminals for corrosion.
