Leaking transmission electrical connector

Electrical connector at the front of my transmission is leaking. Apparently that's a common problem on the 722.6 transmission. Once you unplug the connector, there's a 7mm bolt down inside the socket. That bolt is spinning infinitely without coming out. Same goes with turning the other way, as if to tighten it, just keeps on spinning. I fear that whatever it threads into is stripped out. Anyone know what that bolt threads into? Or if it's easy to remove? I suppose if it's inexpensive, I can replace whatever it threads into. Or if it's a spendy part, I could drill out the hole and install a threaded insert.

Anyone know what that bolt goes into?

Thanks in advance!
