My guess is your voltage regulator is on its way out. That or your OVP relay.

A faulty voltage regulator (which is part of the alternator but separably and easily and inexpensively replaceable) could do all of those things. If you have a voltmeter, you could try monitoring the voltage while you drive for the next few days. You can get a lighter plug and connect the voltmeter to it, then plug it in the lighter socket. During pre-glow the voltage will be as low as 10 Volts. Once the engine starts and the glow plugs go off, the voltage will rise but should not exceed 14 Volts, more or less.

When you replace the voltage regulator, keep the old one for a couple of days. If the problem is confirmed, then toss the old VR. If the new VR does not fix the problem, the old one is good, so put it away in the trunk with your tools and spare tire. A known good spare VR is a mighty nice thing to have if you ever have a failure on the road.

Definitely a voltage problem if it also touches on the SRS. The SRS is totally separate from all other circuits.
