Inlet manifold gasket

I bought an inlet manifold gasket for my 300D in case I want to pull and clean the inlet manifold. As you can see there are 6 holes. I know it is also the exhaust manifold gasket but how are 6 holes divided amongst the 5 cyl of inlet outlet ports???

I'm no expert but that doesn't look like anything I would call an intake manifold gasket.

I also haven't ever ran across anything that was both an intake and exhaust manifold gasket.

I think that is is like this --- With e = exhaust and I = intake The first hole at the front of the engine is an exhaust by its self then combined till the last intake. EGR = front an ALDA on rear. Hope that this helps.

If that's true what separates the exhaust from fresh air?

p/n 6171420780 Exhaust Manifold Gasket; Intake and Exhaust

Apparently it is the correct gasket but I can't picture how 6 holes in the gasket are divided amongst 5 inlet /exhaust ports. Anyone?

The big holes have 2 ports each. The ones on the ends are singles as posted above. Thats 10 total ports = 5 cylinders.

Go out and look at your intake and exhaust manifold. It will be glaringly obvious.

Notice of the four center ones . . . that two are more oval than the other two . . . two Exhaust & two Intake . . . which each service two cylinders each.
