Stripped axle flange bolt head, 1993 W124 300D
I'm surprised I only did this to one of them but I have been trying to cut a slot in it and use something to turn it that way but my Craftsman Dremel-type tool takes forever.
I can't get an easy-out on it due to the tight space there. Any ideas?

If its a CV joint to axle flange bolt and you stripped it, a slot isn't going to work.....borrow a better tool, grind off the head, remove the joint. Now you have something to attach your vise-grip to. Its likely to turn easily at this point.

Since I was removing the diff anyway I just left it attached and removed the axle nut.
I then drilled it out and now I have one fewer bolts on that flange until I can get another one.
