Trouble with the 300CD engine.. mysterious engine shaking at idle after 20 min drive

So i have a 300cd that i just picked up and immead noticed the air cleaner was vibrating and spewing a slow but steady oil mist all over the valve cover. i took it apart checked the filter and the connection to the blow back connecting pipe and then just put it back together. there was oil everywhere down there. The reason i did this was that then engine starts to shake more and more the longer i have the car running from side to side. its a 125k engine turbo from 83 and i have no idea why. new mounts aside when i first turn it on for a while it is super smooth and the longer its on the more it shakes. i was thinking pressure perhaps but im not sure. please help me diagnose. the next step is a proper engine wash but i have not had time yet. thanks. and if anyone has a rear bumper off a parts car there not using in the nyc area for cheap i will happily give you some cash for it.
thanks
patrick

Have you checked your fuel filters?

all fuel filters are good. changed everything right away. it does not seem like the injectors or the valve cover gasket are leaking at all either.

^Yeah, try that. A 14mm lock nut and a 12mm bolt located on the lower rear of the IP.
Loosen the lock nut, and turn the bolt clockwise till it smoothes out. If you turn it in too far you may have starting difficulties.

Not to harp, but how many miles have you driven since the filters were changed, and did you find black dots in the prefilter?
