Battery recomendations for 75 240D W115
Hello,
could someone please recommend a battery for my W115 it gets real cold around where I live in the morning IP timing ect set to specs so is the valve timing I know I need a cold cranking battery but is there any other suitable battery instead of a cold cranking in case it would be hard for me to find one ? You need a group 49 battery with about 1000 CCA's.

dont know what a cold cranking battery is. All auto batteries (at least in the US) are rated in "cold cranking amps", so how much current you can obtain at a low temperture.
Some battery chemistries are tailored to some extent for the environment that they exist in, but that is a secondary thing. Do you have lifetime MB roadside assistance? All cars in the US do - it may be easiest to get them to bring you a battery and install. But a group 49 is what you want.

Walmart has group 49 batteries now for $75. They rated well in a recent issue of Consumer Reports.

HAHAHA, Nope afraid not but there are some battery places in colombo, "I,think" and there are not many "din?" type batteries you know with the terminals kinda integrated into the battery, and when you ask em for a cold cranking they are like, right cold cranking.... errrr??????
