Battery recomendations for 75 240D W115

Hello,
could someone please recommend a battery for my W115 it gets real cold around where I live in the morning IP timing ect set to specs so is the valve timing I know I need a cold cranking battery but is there any other suitable battery instead of a cold cranking in case it would be hard for me to find one ?
Thanks Jeremy Brett

You need a group 49 battery with about 1000 CCA's.

dont know what a cold cranking battery is. All auto batteries (at least in the US) are rated in "cold cranking amps", so how much current you can obtain at a low temperture.

Some battery chemistries are tailored to some extent for the environment that they exist in, but that is a secondary thing.

Do you have lifetime MB roadside assistance? All cars in the US do - it may be easiest to get them to bring you a battery and install.

But a group 49 is what you want.

Walmart has group 49 batteries now for $75. They rated well in a recent issue of Consumer Reports.

Walmart may have batteries, but does Sri Lanka have Walmarts?
