Acceleration Fine at Higher Speeds, Poor at Lower
Saw Milo (the 92 300D) over Thanksgiving for the first time in five months. Acceleration was poor all the way around. Inspected the prefilter; it was fine. Replaced the secondary fuel filter, and there was a marked improvement in acceleration at higher speeds. HOWEVER, things are still very weak and anemic at the lower speeds, especially from a stop.
So, I clearly had two problems: a clogged fuel filter and an unidentified problem. What are the likely candidates for poor acceleration but only at lower speeds? ALDA? Thanks.
