Harbor Freight Sale

Harbor Freight was being discussed in a current thread but some would not see this notice just tacked onto that...

Here is the site which has all sorts of deals listed... it was the one I was the HF notice on..

Holy cow - looks like I've got some shopping to do. Has anyone ever used that A/C vacuum? I know HF is pretty cheap on the quality scale but if you only need to pull a vacuum once a year....

That being said, I would NOT use an $8 spring compressor, I value my life and various bones intact thank you very much! Electric fly swatter, now thats a different story!

I'm going to HF tonight. I like that screw driver set. I'm also going to get a work bench and some other smaller stuff. I'm addicted to the place. Those spring compressors are scary. They sell another compressor for $50 that is more solid state.

Thanks for posting that. Now I get to go to HF and make three trips in and out to use all the coupons plus the 20% off one in the magazines. You can't always use multiple coupons for ring out around here!

Vtbomachines, If you are talking about the venturi type ac vacuum that is not recommended for AC work... possibly for glue holding apparatus in wood work.. but not our car ac stuff...
HOWEVER, a while back HF had their two stage pump on sale... and there was some discussion where Whunter I believe said it would do for at least a certain number of hours of use... and at the rate I need it... it would last about 100 years... so I got it...
I have not used it yet... but it sure looked nice... in addition to it being on sale.. it was the last one in the store...the floor model....and they gave me some off for that situation too.....

edit : This is the one I got...
