Water leak finally solved (I hope)
After closer inspection, the rubber seal in the lower part of the windshield was clearly coming apart. The gaps were big enough for multiple pine needles to get lodged in. I used a windshield gasket tool to remove all the pine needles from underneath the gasket.
I then applied a solid dose of black silicone caulk from HomeDepot. I am hoping this solves the problem. The caulk looks ugly but who cares. Thanks to everyone who chimed in in my earlier posts about this frustrating water leak problem. You guys rock.
