603 Stop lever goes down?

I noticed when I was fighting with my left turn bulb that when I turned my car off, the Stop lever was in a depressed state. then it slowly rose back to it's normal position. I assume this is normal but I thought I would ask.

Sounds like a really slow vacuum leak somewhere. Mine stays down against the stop position until you flip the switch to "on" again, no matter how long it sits. Maybe if you let it go for a week it might come back up, but day to day it stays locked down.

Best case, cracked vacuum line from ignition switch or wherever the source for the vacuum it applies is. Worst case, I think but am not 100% positive, is a leaky shutoff mechanism that's eventually going to stop shutting the car off at all without you pressing it by hand.

mm, Prolly still Sucking air from the servo line, I've still not replaced it yet so it's connection is mediocre at best. I will Re do all the vac lines under the dash when I pull it later on next month or so. would likely explain why my Vac pods dont work in the system

Brake servo and engine shutoff have a dedicated check valve though they're fed off the same vacuum pump as ACC pods. More likely you have bad pods than a central vacuum problem.

Well, I know I have a central Vac problem. I'm the one who broke it. As for the pods. I'm going to replace them all. Eliminate them as a source. See if there's anything on the cabin side I need to do with any AC systems etc... get it ready for summer
