Angry Car Alarm Problem - 1984SD

A few weeks ago I had a problem with the alarm going off, so I disconnected the siren( ? ). Then I could hear what sounded like a blinker behind the glove box. Got home, searched the forum, locked/unlocked door and everything was fine.
I did not hook siren up yet.
Today, I am hearing the blinking sound. Key does not stop it. Is there a certain fuse for the alarm? I would like to temporarily disable it so the battery doesn't drain.
Thanks

my car does this from time to time too, What I have done to turn it off is to put the key in the lock and hold it in the unlock position until it stops

What is it that you unplugged under the passenger floormat? I hear the blinker sound sometimes as well, but the alarm has never gone off.

Thumbs up

Maybe the alarm, located in engine bay, is broken or disconnected. Putting key in drivers door and holding in both positions solved my clicking problem.
