W210 psf
Hello,
what is the right psf for a w210 e300d? I usually use the febi bilstein fluid recommended via fastlane, however once in a while in the cold, the system will not allow the wheel to turn for a while when started. Thinking I want to change to another fluid, though not sure what... Anyone know the pentosin version or what other options I should consider?

I got some from the dealer. I assume that it's Febi, but I'm not sure.
It sounds like you have a case of "Morning Sickness." It's not extremely uncommon. The fix is usually a new rack. |

When I got my '96 E300D at 248,000 miles, the power steering fluid had never been changed and was black with age. I flushed it out with fluid from the local NAPA auto parts store. The pump has been damaged with age and dirty fluid so it sometimes does not provide the proper boost at low engine speeds (parking lot driving, for example). One of these days I'll have to replace it but as it is expensive I am not in a hurry.
