So, what is the maximum RPM you are seeing in any gear at WOT?

Are you at WOT in that video? If so, it looks like you have a couple problems. Another one looks to be a "low power" problem (lack of boost). But, then again if you are hitting 4th gear too early it will be a slug either way.

I know mine shifts and moves as fast as that DG video. Before I started messing with the Bowden cable, the car would be difficult to get over 3200 RPM. Now it will quickly and happily rev all the way to 4400 RPM on the 2/3 and 3/4 shift @ WOT.

But, as mentioned before, all that cable does is move your shift points up or down. Have you verified that the cable is hooked up and not broken/binding? Also check that the little black connector up on top of the valve cover is not broken.

On another note... Have you checked your vacuum at the VCV? Or have you T'd into the line coming off the "Vacuum Transducer" (going to the trans.)? What is your vacuum reading on these components?

Thanks for the PM. In the video I was in wide open throttle. The issue is my transmission doesn't act anything like dieselgiants.

My car is fast off the line but the shifts are the oddest I have ever seen.

Tomorrow I will get my digital camera and shot with that. Hopefully I can show you guys the speeds as well the behavior of the tach.

I'm actually thinking it is something inside the transmission. The vacuum system wouldn't cause my RPMs to remain consistent as the transmission shifts.

Ok here is my last video regarding my shifts.

I say it in the video, but just to be noted that I am going up an unramp on i90 so obviously my acceleration is being affected.

I can't believe it is so hard to get a video of my car going 0-60 in the winter. There just aren't any clear, flat roads open right now without any traffic.

I think the issue is part of the transmission, not any of the vacuum related goodies.
