Help with climate control
I am having electrical problems with my climate control. It worked fine until I gave the car to my daughter, ("then it just stopped working"). The fuse keeps blowing on it. I unplugged the climate control plugs (removed the load) and it keeps blowing the fuse when the ignition is turned on. I believe that would indicate a short somewhere in the wiring between the fuse box and the climate control. I don't have an electrical print of this, if anyone has this or has any ideas of a solution, I would really appreciate the help.

I take it the CCU you nabbed from my SD was no good?

That worked fine, but it was for another car, I did use the headlight assembly in it though. Thank you very much. I saw the car down at Hollands, without the drivetrain, good luck with your transplant.

Which fuse keeps blowing? Fuse 10 is for the pushbutton control unit and temp control unit, as well as the auxiliary fan, backup lights, engine overload switchover valve, and outside temp gauge. Fuse 11 is for the electronic blower speed control unit and a compressor time delay relay (?). (According to the diagrams)
