Under the Battery Tray--QUESTION
Ok I've seen alot of photos of what years of acid/water and rust can do under the battery tray and the battery tray itself.
However, what I am a little unclear on is how does it look originally under the battery tray ? Is it just solid or was there originally a small whole to maybe act as a drain? Hopefully a few of you guys can set me straight. (Photos are great too) I've got my old Tray out and am working on the rust clean up under there and will be appling some Por-15 but I wanted to ensure that I understood how it was originally before I start my efforts. After I apply the POR-15 I have a new Battery Tray to install.

Yes there is
there is a big drain hole in the far back fenderside corner, underneath the metal heater hose that runs through there. It is a big drain, but still will plug up with debris if you don't clean it out.
