87 300D fan power quit
Is there an inline fuse from ign switch to the fan motor? There is no power at the firewall connector and all fuses in the box are good. The speed control porcupine was removed and bypassed and it ran fine for about 2 mos.
Also, is there a repair manual CD for this car I can purchase reasonable cost? |

fuse location?
Looked at the chassis electrical section in the link. Doesn't look like my car by either strut. Don't see an aux 30A fuse anywhere under the hood.

I have the FSM on two CDs that cover '87 and many other years. I can be persuaded to copy and mail them, for a few $$ to cover disks and postage.

need ckt dias
The speed control module was defective and removed. I ran power straight to the fan when I needed defrost. I didn't have time and $$ before winter set in to replace everything. I now have a replacement motor and building my own speed control circuit.
If I could get wiring (and vacuum) diagrams of this car that would be most helpful. The local libraries and auto stores no longer have anything that old. I even looked at the used book shops (found one once for my 83). |
