My 1997 E300d Hit 300,000 miles on January 5. I just completed a 3062 mile trip for both business and personal reasons. Started out from home in Southeastern PA, with stops in Charlotte, NC, Huntsville, AL, Linden, AL, then off to Venice, FL, Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL. On return trip, quick stop in Raleigh NC, then finally home yesterday. I will say the car performed flawlessly, however I am back to having a sort of "pinging" sound when cruising at speed, it does come and go on occasion. Here are the results for fuel

Temps ranged from a cold 14 degrees on Monday 1/11 at 6:30am in Kannapolis NC to a high of 76 in Lakeland, FL on Tuesday afternoon 1/19.
