Bad AC Manifold
Hello,
My 81 240D had a seized compressor. Got a new set-up from Phil and got it installed, and all was well. Went out the other day to drive the car, no AC. Took it to the shop that did the work. They told me that the manifold was bad, it was not flat on the mating surface. I got a good used one and it will get to them with other parts for replacement. Curious though what would cause this? I would imagine it was their installation practice, right? The seized one was the OE compressor.
