Where to buy transmission mount

Hello.

I have a 1984 300TD, 292 000 miles.

I was going to change the flex disc's today, and when i was to get started, i saw that the transmission mount was in BAD shape (as it's probably 26 years old). Seems like something has struck the plate underneath and bent the whole mount just to finish it off.

I know where to get the mount, but i would like to renew the plate also, as you can see is bent also.

Can't seem to find that part anywhere i have searched, and i have a hard time searching it, as i don't know what it's called...

Maybe some of you have a tips on where i can buy both parts together...?

I live in Sweden....

No MB dealer in Sweden?

Can you mail order from the USA, meaning buying that part from peachparts, the sponsor of this forum?

Or, find a private party nearby parting out a car.

Smile

Remove it,

Use a Large Hammer to straighten it,

Hopefully you can purchase something like JB Weld to repair it.

X2. The two mounting bolt slots look okay. Maybe purely cosmetic. You won't know until you try to replace.

We have MB dealers, but i figured there might be some pennies to save by ordering online.
I will get hold of a new mount and probably perform a minor surgery on it as it is, or while i wait for the part to arrive, hear with the local salvage yards only what they have to offer, out of curiosity

Thanks for all the fast replies.

The transmission cross-member can be repaired by most competent welders.

The mount should be replaced with a NEW unit MB# 123 240 25 18.

Have a great day.
