I don't have this off the top of my head and someone here will likely have a manual to address this. But, if someone cut the wiring off the plug, are there remnants inside the plug you can match up to? Jim

Thanks for your response Jim but the end of the plug was cut off. All the connectors were removed from the plug so I have nothing to go by at all. I recently got the plastic piece but it also has no connectors in it. So if there is anyway you can help me out it would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

If you have better than a dial-up connection try this for on-line service manuals and wiring diagrams-http://mb.braingears.com page 5 is what you are looking for.
(I have done it on dial-up but expect to wait a lo-o-ong time for all the pages to download in pdf format.) If you can't get it to work, let me know and we'll make a wiring list. ![]()

I'm reading from the '83 manual.
The terminal numbers are practically illegible, so, take the following with the understanding that it might not be perfect: There are three wires that are connected to the "run" contact. They are: red/black stripe........connected to socket 15 red/green stripe........connected to socket 15R red/yellow stripe.......connected to 15X There are two supply wires: Both are 4mm red wires and each goes to socket 30. There are two of them. The start contacts go to the violet/white stripe. I cannot read the socket number. The accessory contacts go to green/white stripe. Again, I cannot read the socket number. Please check with a continuity tester to be sure the colored wires match the contacts for each function. The socket numbers may be iffy but the functions and wire colors should match. |

The Violet/White goes to #50. It is the starter wire
