Calling all W201 experts
I need some help with a heater blower problem. I replaced the fan assembly but have no voltage to the motor. The fuse block lists a fuse for the fan but does not have a number assigned to it. All the fuses in the block are good. Is there another fuse located outside the fuse block for the motor ?

Answer
Look by the LEFT upper strut mount for a black plastic box, roughly 20mm x 30mm x 60mm.
Picture with part number attached. Danger/Warning: In an emergency people have been known to jumper the fuse with wire or an 80 AMP glow plug fuse, this can be done as a diagnostic test FOR A FEW SECONDS. Leaving the test jumper in place (as a repair) can and has caused many car fires. Risk of an electrical meltdown - FIRE increases, the longer it remains in place. Have a great day.
