damn...well its a really nice vehicle. i'm still like 2 years away from being in the market for one of these. everytime i see one i get an impulsive urge.

It is possible to do a RHD 617 turbo. There are after market kits down here that can be fitted. I think the expansion joint on the outlet of the turbo would need to be removed and replaced with a 90 degree bend like on the outlet of a Saab 900 turbo. That would allow the exhaust to go down in front of the steering box. The power steering hoses would need moving to keep them away from the heat. NA Benz's are ok, Ive had 3 of them. Not too good around town, but fine on the open road.

If your town is at 10,000 ft, you'll be much happier with the turbo. An NA G-Wagon in Colorado would leave a lot to be desired.

True Kerry, we are only a few hundred feet above sea level here and its flat !! The NA's dont like the hills on a hot day. They are best on a cool morning when the air feels heavy!!
