It is hard to understand your question.

Could you re-phrase that and tell us more clearly what you want to do?

The build years of the donar and reciepient are relavant. If both are turbo almost anything other than the the engine if required for the td as the td has a pump in the engine head.

You would have to switch heads to drop an engine into a td. Of course any sheet metal differences unless you can post a td with a trunk lid on it or conversly a sedan with a tailgate.

There may be some rear end ratio differences and some speedometer drive differences as well. Again other than those areas most parts should be interchangeable. The td has a hydro self leveling system in the rear as well. The closer they are in build years the better I imagine.

As one poster stated mention what you are thinking about doing. We have a lot of members that know these cars inside out remember.

In general anything from the back of the front seats forward is the same except the head, and a few random switches and a reservoir. But like stated above there many be some year issues with things like wiring, vacuum, and drivetrain. Things will fit across years but may not be compatible.

You're gonna put a SLS into a D? Never heard of that.

Better check the shock height first. I can't remember which is taller (I think the D is taller than the TD). Also, is there room for the accumulators and the valve?

I've seen a euro 300D with SLS. It was an option for at least some of those outside the US.
