Mine run between 13.x and I think 14.1 at the top. That suits me just fine; I don't *want* it higher. Anything over 12.6 is recharging, and the slower you recharge, the better the charge and the battery last. I almost always go at least half an hour any time I start the car before shutting it down again, which leaves plenty of time for it to replenish what it used on the previous engine start. Just pounding extra voltage into the thing beyond what's necessary to trickle-charge constantly is just extra wear on the battery chemistry, among other things.
