W123 trunk always locked and need key to open it
 

I need a quick fix for my (or was mine now sob sob :( ) 1985 300D. The trunk is always locked and you need the key to get it open every time. The central locks have an issue and don't work hardly. Not time to solve that now . What i want is to get the trunk to not require key to unlock unless you turn it to far right position and pull key out.

So, as it is, when left in center position where you should not need key, you still have to use key, turn left and push in. What is causing this? Can i disable the vacuum somehow or use mighty vac to put vacuum element in different position and then disconnect and plug vacuum lines so it stays there?

You should be able to manually reposition the vacuum actuator.
