Rubber protectors for AT lines
Hello,
Changine the oil pan gasket, and so I have a chance to change the rubber protectors on the ATF lines. They are fairly extruded, and could use to be replaced... Any suggestions? I was thinking of using some fuel line cut to size to fit the diameter of the AT line. Any thoughts? Thanks!

How about getting the real ones from the dealer, they fit perfectly and cost about a dollar each.

I like the dealer idea, wish I had thought to check when I did mine recently.
I wore a hole in a line, leaked a bunch of fluid. That is how I learned mine were bad. I used a fuel resistent rubber then slathered in RTV to keep them from moving. I agree that some fuel line is a good idea.

Well it is good to know that they are a common item available from the dealer for a dollar each.
In the meantime I used some sheet rubber cut to about 1.5mm wider on each side than the clamp, and have that in there. In some ways it is actually a nicer fit than the OE part!
