A few pics of my '82

Just did a car wash - first since Ive bought the car. No wax or anything else yet...

Now the big question... What surface treatment and wax regimen to use. I have everything from nufinish to zaino...

That is one nice coupe! Glad to see there are still some real nice ones out there!

I just washed both of mine today, but neither have paint remotely that nice.

I wish my paint looked that good. I hate the failed clearcoat look!

Beautiful, you do have bragging rights . that is some awsome looking paint.

Calif plates, is that an e-bay buy? or did you fly out and drive it back to NJ?
If it was originally sold in Calif in 82, should have the blue plates. unless they were damaged, lost or an out of state vehicle.

Very nice.
I use products from Griots. The whole shebang, clay polish and sealant.

clay,cut, then polish or wax.

I use the regular clay bar kit from meguiars, with the quick detail spray as a lubricant, then depending on swirls either a light compound or something a little more aggresive but not too aggressive since I do not have a DA.. then finish it off with a quality wax.. Meg's NXT Tech Wax works pretty good but anything Zymol is the best to use.. pricey but great product

The aftermarket chromed bundts gave it away as a CA car. What are the details, miles etc. on it?

I dig the architecturals of the 1.5 story home across the street. Love the front porch. Nice neighborhood!

It doesn't want to go real straight... Maybe a replacement is in order...
