116 vs 124 Key blanks

Will a locksmith use the same blank for a 124 key as a 116 key?

I ask because I'd love a flip key FOB Keyless entry system, and I seem to only find 107 and 124 type.

I just looked at my 116 and 124 ignition keys and they are different. The 116 key is longer, and it has a special separate narrow key for the door.
