w123 Wagon Rear bumper onto Sedan Projekt~In The Works

guys, i snagged a nice wagon rear bumper with everything except lenses for the reverse lights. I took the entire wiring harness including the plug male and female end so I know what wires to solder onto which pins when i get to that stage.

my first question is, for anyone whose done this before, did you have to drill a hole in the sheet metal of the sedan for the wire harness, or if not where did you route the wiring harness to get into the trunk? i'm trying to avoid the whole cutting a hole and rubber grommet thing if i can avoid it but it doesn't look like it's doable unless I can extend the wire harness and route it through one of the drain holes in the spare tire well or somewhere else

also, does anyone have a part number for the lenses?
