Where does the vacuum split from drivers' door to passenger? I am thinking under the dashboard.... my passenger door does not lock when I lock the driver's side.... where should I look?

i'm having the same problem....i have a 80 300sd....the one diagram i saw showed the lines going under the floor mats under a plastic sheild...i found the sheid but can't figure out how to remove the sheild

In the D series, there is a black channel that runs along the drivers door floor under the carpet. The T for the right side and for the rear is under the channel.

Red stripe is the locking side, green stripe is the open.
