210 Fog Lamp R&R

Hey Guys, picked up my new (to me) 210 and loving it beyond belief. Made contact with the seller through this forum, which is another reason to love you guys. Anyway.... the only thing wrong with it is the fog lamps won't come on and when I pull the switch to turn them on, I get a "defective lamp" message on the dash. I just picked up a couple of new bulbs, but I'm hoping for some input on how to get those bulbs in the assembly, you know, before I pull the bumper off or do something else stupid. How do you get the bulbs in there? Thanks in advance!

On the underside of the front bumper are two doors held closed by plastic screws. Turn the screws so that they unblock and the doors will swing down. Now you can see in through the door opening and get an arm in the door to loosen the screw holding the fog lamp and remove it. With the lamp housing out, you will be able to remove the snaps that hold the lens onto the body. Then you can get inside and replace the bulbs.

You may find that the lenses are pitted due to rocks and other road trash; if you choose to replace the lenses, cover them with X-pel or whatever competitive product you prefer before installing them. Otherwise they will soon be as pitted as the old ones.

If its not the bulbs it very well could be the wiring to the fog light. There is a TSB regarding corroded connections to the fog light.
