300CD rear windows go up too far

Has anyone else had this problem with their CD?

TIA,

Craig

I have an '85 CD and did have a problem with one rear window not wanting to go up far enough but not what you describe. How does this problem impact you? I'm not sure I understand the effect. Mine go up to until they hit the seal and I release the button.

maybe your regulator is broken.

If the rear windows go up to their normal position, the rubber seal matches with the back side of the driver or passenger door windows. If the windows go up too far then the metal trim behind the seal hits the door windows, and there is a hole at the bottom/rear of the window where air can come in.

Craig,

Unusual problem you have there. I've not seen anything on it before in this or other forums. If no one can give you specific insight, you'll have to take the side panel off and look at whats going on. Must be a "stop" there somewhere thats not functioning, or the regulator is just not adjusted correctly. Wish I could help.

Please report back what you eventually find out.
