I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the specific location of the a/c temp switch under the passenger side of the dash on 116s (in my case a 79 300sd).

It's apparently two connectors with a short wire pigtail leading to an element at the end. (I guess it looks something like this.)

On diesel cars (and maybe the others too) the red/green wire from the 87 terminal on the double pole relay leads to the a/c temp switch and a red/blue-green wire leads from the a/c temp switch to the compressor pressure switch.

According to the wiring diagram in the factory service manual (which is online at another forum) the thing is located under the right side of the dash. Somewhere. I can't find it.
