My 97

The antena on my 87 SDL is stuck. At first it was half way up. Took the unit off and checked the motor with direct jump. The motor was fine, also cleaned the gears and plastic regulator. Replaced, and it still did't work. Drove a short distance and the antena went all the way down and won't go back up. Any sugestion will be a help. Thanks

Try taking off the antenna and soaking in some PB blaster or WD-40. You should just have to unscrew the base and pull the nylon cord out. You may need to replace the antenna mast.
