Summer New England GTG!

I was talking to Mike last night about this, lets set one up. We were thinking late June, possible at a German restaurant in CT. Although its open to just about any location.

I no longer have a MB, but I still love the GTG's.

I'll be in Mystic late June. If you have it then, I can make it.

I'm in unless it interferes with my work schedule (it shouldn't). Also interested in a MB train to there if anyone else around here will be going.

If you get it closer to mid-june, I might be able to make it.

Sounds good. And as usual I'll try my best, regardless of location.

I'll throw this out there as a possibility, right smack dab in the middle of the state. This place in New Britain is one of our favorites, The East Side. It's not cheap, but it is good and you can get Big Beers.

One issue might be parking, it's pretty busy on summer weekends (especially Sundays) especially around dinner time and the lot isn't that big. However it's not far from Martha Hart Park which is a nice little park and I'd imagine if you had reservations for X amount of people in a group there'd be enough parking. While the restaurant isn't in a bad neighborhood it's certainly not scenic (typical urban, used to be German now not as much) so it's not like you'd want to hang out there.

Hi
Sounds like fun. Is this a one day, or a whole weekend?

The beer is excellent.

The waitresses are all dressed up in tight outfits.

However, the food is way overpriced and the atmosphere is a typical German beer hall.

Pass.

Yeah, and I'm still 2 1/2 years from being able to purchase and drink alcohol in public, so I'd fell just a little left out.

I am interested if timing is right. I have family outside NYC, so I could kill two birds.
