brake disc
 

I ordrered new rotors for the front of my 82 240D and they look nothing like whats on there. The origionals have much more "drum" if thats the right word and a lip where the rim touches. Do I have the right part, because it looks like they wont fit at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

You may note the pads are inboard of the edge of the rotor. When it wears down you'll have a "lip" on the outer edge, completely normal.

The lip is not on the disc, it is on the "drum" part of the unit where the rim/tire mount.

Okay, the rotor part number is 123 421 00 12, make sure that is what was ordered.
