A rough but a real Euro 123 300TD turbodiesel $1250
 

Not for me but a friend is STRONGLY considering the car. $1250!

Good deal, the car's cosmetics are beat w/ LR sideswipe, but it runs/drives well. Silver/blue w/ 179k.

My question is, given the cosmetics/auto box, what are your thoughts relative to price? No WVO has touched this.

I'm admittedly a gasser guy, but understand the diesel has its grandstandings, one day I'll grab one as a DD (w123).

what interior does it have? mine is similar, but it's an 85 with black leather.

that sounds like a good price to me. The body damage is not as bad as I thought from your description, and should be repairable. If it runs and drives fine, that would be a good deal for a wagon.

it's a euro, there is a third choice, it could be cloth! my 240 5 speed has red cloth, and I have a set of blue cloth as well... I like the cloth. Leather is VERY COMFORTABLE!

also, it looks like he broke the drivers side backup lamp, and replaced it with a US version. tisk tisk

and don't bet the farm on that mileage being accurate.
the speedo is definitely not original to the car.
look at the coloring of the needle/lettering compared to the other two sets of gauges.

The VIN shows electric front windows (but not rear), and seat heaters. Fabric blue/grey interior, double roller blind, rear headrests, locking glovebox, trailer coupling....

No A/C. Neat spec of a car.

all euros came without a/c to my knowledge, it's usually added aftermarket stuff, making it superior to the crap R4 the US models came with. mine has Sanden

ABS and seat heater, I didn't know those were options, nice find.

Sandan? Would that be stamped on the compressor?
