got my euro lights today

thanks to a member of this fine forum, I just got my brand new euro headlights and dark amber corners for my coupe. after a slightly frustrating installation, they are now fully operational and look GREAT. best part is that everything (shipping included) was under 120 dollars only thing i need is a new bulb for the left headlight.
And thanks to a Mr. Torey Tran, I officially dub the coupe Suavay. Will be taking picture tomorrow morning and night.

Great looking upgrade. I'm thinking about the same for my 201. Care to divulge the source via PM? Adsit is a pricey (and scary) proposition.

I never in a million years thought I would like the "city" light function. But when I went to euro's on my TD I went ahead and hooked them up since there were bulbs in there already. Now I think it looks nice running with the parking and city lights during the dusk hours.

The Euros on my 87 300D came from Adsit. My brother bought them (when he owned the car) about 6 years ago or more. They are Bosch brand and even came with new Euro (amber) corner as well. I actually just had to buy a new lens for my passenger side light because somebody hit me in the parking lot at work. I still haven't installed it but once again, I didn't have any problems with Adsit. I ordered it on a Sunday night and it arrived the following Friday. Once again, an OE Bosch unit in great shape. I understand not everyone will have an excellent experience with a seller but my family has had two great experiences with adsit.

By the way- the W201 looks great with Euros. Our 190D had them at one point and would like to put them back on.

The 300CD looks great too!

My car (w/ city lights on):

Got my w201 lights from my mechanic. Not cheap, but good enough to be just "cleaned up" and installed. He's selling a driver side unit that I've seen (Bosch).

These Euros are fantastic upgrades to any old US version MB.

well unfortunately I got extremely lucky with these lights. CSCMC1 (here on the forum) stumbled on them when at a local pull yard and I happened to nab em before anyone else saw the post. He shipped the lights straight over and couldn't have been nicer. even threw a check up email my way on the expected arrival day. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a set of 201 euros though. There is a guy about an hour away from me who said he had some various euros, parts, and a 190e (i think 16v). he was lookin for 225 for the set though

Hey, tfernandez -- the lights look great! Glad they arrived intact... it was a relief to hear that UPS got them there safely. Glad to have passed these along to a W123 owner, since I am in a W124 now. Maybe someday I'll have another 123!
