92 W124.128 Compressor Woes

Hey all,
The saga continues with my A/C Compressor.
So there I am with my buddy sitting outside our local bar drinking a Strongbow. The Mercedes is parked right in front of us at the curb. Its a beautiful evening in central Florida, not too humid at all, just enjoying the evening. I'm content.
Then all of a sudden. POP!!! and hiss.... Sounded like the sound the tire blew out. Damn I'm thinking as I'm watching for the car to settle down, expecting to have to change a tire. Then I see a small fog come from under the engine compartment. Next thing I'm thinking, I blew an A/C line. Crud. It's been working so well I'm not in the mood for this. I went inside and asked for a flash light. Popped the hood and looked at the hoses. OHHH look at all the dye, isn't that pretty. The hoses looked ok, next looked at the compressor, go from the green dye and work backwards. WTF!!! The speed sensor was hanging loose.
When I replaced the speed sensor I had an issue getting it to seat. But it looked ok after we tapped it into place. (Hind sight is 20/20) I should have removed it and tried to re-seat it but didn't.
Luckily the car was parked and I was able to recover the O-ring and C-ring.
Back to my mechanic I go. Hopefully all will be ok.

I made a mistake in installing the speed sensor. I double up the O-ring. Didn't see the one inside. Relatively easy fix. Replaced with one O-ring on the speed sensor on the back of the compressor. All is well. 311K on vehicle.
