Where Mercedes die in Brooklyn?

I was driving in the Carrol Gardens/Red Hook are of Brooklyn and stumbled on this yard. Anyone know what's going on there? It looks like the lot is up for lease but makes no mention of the cars or if they are for sale/scrap.

Sorry for the bad photostitch, I had to use an online program the crops the edges.

I see that place almost every day.
Love the green coupe in the back, but its all rusted to shreds.
The guy does sell parts, I have a neighbor that bought some W123 parts off of him for cheap. I don't have any contact info, however, myself. I bet if you call the lease info #, they'd give you some info.
Did you notice that in Red Hook, one out of every two cars is a W123? I've got the green wagon, have met most of the owners already.

It seems like the only time I meet other MB owners is when I go to Fairway. We should informally get together some time down there. Have you run into any '95 E300D's? I'd love to compare sounds and shifts to get a baseline on what mine is doing.

It's about half and half- people who think the cars are cool, and those who are really into them. Don't know if many would be into a group, but it'd be a great idea by me. Was thinking of maybe getting together a bio co-op, but I'm too lazy to pick up restaurant oil- suspect the others are too. But yeah, lending a wrench or a hand is always something nice to do.
Haven't seen too many 90s diesels around, but I do know a guy who just got rid of a 94, I think. Any similarities?

You might be right.
My personal timeline knowledge stops right after the 1987 300TD.

My understanding was 1987 300D, 1990-1993 300D 2.5, and then 1995 300D OM606 non turbo was the extent of US W124 diesels.
