Hi All,

I am new to this forum having only just brought my first MB. I have just brought a 1979 W123 240D which has a few anomalies so I am slowly working my way through them with some help from a few experienced owners here in the UK.

The car itself was originally a petrol MB that was converted to Diesel around 2000 but its an old diesel engine, I have been told its probably a W114 which means a bit of a non standard exhaust situation.

I need to change the current exhaust manifold from the current to a W123 4 Cylinder 240D manifold. From what I have seen and learnt they fit the same I just need to make sure the exhaust port is in the right place.

Would anyone be able to take a photo of the area where the exhaust meets the manifold on a W123 240D if you have one. This will enable me to buy the right manifold.
