Copper fuse replacement source?
On my other cars, I have bought a complete set/assortment of replacement fuses that are copper, not the tin OE ones. Since the last purchase, my parts source has changed hands.
The above parts suppliers don't list them, anyone know where to get them? |
I just got a much more than full set of copper fuses (many extras) from fleabay for ~$9 delivered.
|
I second eBay. There are several sources there that sell them. I got mine a few months ago and put them in and have a bunch left over.
|
K, thanks. I'll go ebay. Recommended sellers?

I thought I read in one of the threads that Fastlane sells the Copper Fuses?

I mean, no those fuses will fail badly. just ship them to me... |
All the fuses I've gotten from Phil have been copper....
|
Some of the Fuses I have appear to be Brass.
|
The original fuses are not aluminum. They are zinc with a tin coating.
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=68406&highlight=fuse Working from memory, I believe the red replacement fuses are 100% copper, and the blue and white ones are 40% zinc brass. |
