Which parts do I pick?

Over Mem day I am going to a Packard bone yard to pick Mercedes parts.

Huh?

The guy has a private Packard boneyard outside of my state.

He just got a bunch of W123 300TD and will let me pick them before he sells them to another junk dealer. I got him parts he needed for his personal Packard when no one else could find them

I need to know:

What are unobtainable parts on the 300TD?
Where's the infamous "banjo bolt"

What about the plastic vacuum control which connects to the trans?

Are the claipers worth removing as well?

He has also offered me a 180D to "check out for parts"

So.... what should I grab?

unobtainium includes the head, the SLS pump, the SLS dipstick, the rear calipers, the SLS valves, the SLS shocks, the Accumulators for the SLS (sense a pattern here?) the rear seatbelts the 60/40 seats, the third row seats, the roof cross bars, the rear headrests, the cargo nets, and apparently the side window seals/the windows themselves, the rear hatch and the rear window wipers. fuel tanks, fuel pressure vessels, etc etc etc... pretty much everything that is different from the sedan.

Thanks!
If there are turbo diesel sedans, what parts should I take?

meh. dime a dozen.
good condition floor mats? window regulators, um, air filter brackets, perfect battery trays, tight rear view mirrors, fuel tank senders, radio antenna's, alternator upper brackets, all uncracked wood, horizontal climate control heads, cruise control amps, all this applies to the wagons as well. but you'll not have an easy time getting the tank senders off a wagon...

someone say SLS pumps?

I have two SLS pumps ---- anyone want to buy one? I would say only grab parts that you have room to store. Isn't it that way with extra cars, too.

What year is the 180D? Hmmmm.......
