I throw rocks at mity-vac now!

yeah, that hand pump is useful for testing car's pump power, but if you are tracing a leak, you better have popeye arms!

yup, it's a reclaimer, and it works for that job also, but it works GREAT as a vacuum pump, constant flow for finding that leaking part/hose!

nice find John!!
Maybe a bit of an overkill for most of us though!!
I guess every one will be watching fleabay for another one.
When are you going to put your mity-vac up for sale?

I'm going to be looking for one now. My best thing so far has been a large aquarium pump....works for testing some things....

nah, the gauge on the reclaimer is not accurate enough for testing leaks and such, I'll hang onto the mity-vac for this purpose...
I'd not seen such a small reclaimer of this vintage before, most of the ones like this are too heavy to haul around for odd tasks, this one is a gas only model, no provisions for liquid reclaiming, perfect as a vacuum pump though!
My GS2 is SOOO nice for liquid reclaiming, this is likely why the robinair model I found was so cheap.
