606 PURGE QUESTION

Hi! I just replaced DV seals and washers, all the fuel plastic lines. Now how do you purge the engine? 96 E300. Thanks in advance!!!

You must use the starter motor to crank the engine. Again and again. There is a limit on how long to crank before letting the starter cool. It's in the owner's manual, but I don't recall how long is safe.

Thanks for the reply. The engine is working already, but at idle it has a knocking sound and big time vibration. What is the best way to purge the air from the fuel lines? Thanks in advance!
