Where the horn on my 85 300td?

Wanted to beep some doofus and got nothing. Fuse is okay. I can't even find the horn on my rig. (battery is new two months ago, kept topped up with battery tender) I only drive this car about 1500 miles a year. Its my hunting/landfill rig. So where is it? I expect the contacts are crusty. Thanks.

On the W123's they are down below under the bumper, and turn to solid rust. They were both rotted 100% away on my brother's 300D....I swapped in some Stebel Italian horns, they sound pretty stupid. But they are plastic, so no rusting!

yup. bolted to the front of the car, under the radiator support. just to the outside of the transmission cooler lines.
they should be in the same place the 126/4's are, in front of the aux fan up front!

thanks

Thanks. Until I get it replaced, I've put my "Horn Broken Watch For Finger" bumper sticker on the back. Even though the horn is (was) anemic, it helps to alert the little old ladies when I drive on the sidewalks.

Bah! the little old ladies won't read the sticker, or hear your horn. ya gotta have super bright lights to alert them.
